BANGA PLANTER
DESCRIPTION
The Banga (ba-nga) Collection is inspired by the traditional Filipino Banga Dance in which women reenact a pre-colonial daily routine of fetching water from the river and trekking through rice fields and mountain sides to provide water for their village. The women would balance bangas (or pots) on top of their heads, sometimes up to seven pots high. Our Banga Collection is a testament to a woman's spirit of strength, agility, and grace in the face of adversity.
The small Banga Planter can be stacked on top of the medium. Available in natural, adobe, and black.
10% of all our Banga Collection sales will be donated to NAPAWF, the National Asian Pacific American Women's Forum. NAPAWF is the only organization focused on building power with AAPI women and girls to influence critical decisions that affect our lives, our families and our communities. Using a reproductive justice framework, we elevate AAPI women and girls to impact policy and drive systemic change in the United States.
